Catz Dry Gin

CATZ® Dry Gin, distilled and co-developed by one of the oldest family distilleries in the Netherlands. Tradition and craftsmanship are paramount at this company, which is one of the few to bear the title "World Class Distillery". For more than 225 years, the distillery in Schiedam has distilled the basis for their genevers and other spirits in small copper pot stills.

CATZ® Dry Gin is a new gin that brings an old Dutch brand back to life. A Dutch gin, exceptionally aromatic and versatile, powerful and balanced. A gin that blends classic aspects in its own way into a rich palette of special botanicals. A gin that has been developed in peace and quiet in recent years and to which no concessions have been made to the final quality.

Own taste

The individual distillation in copper stills optimizes the flavor of each botanical. Separately, all botanicals can be tasted very well, but together complex layers with new flavors are created. This makes CATZ® Dry Gin accessible for the novice gin drinker and at the same time a gin full of complexities for the connoisseur.

Tasting note

The gin is fresh and slightly sweet on the nose: vanilla, orange and juniper with a hint of Earl Gray tea and a slightly salty aroma of angelica. In the mouth, the gin slowly reveals the flavors: first notes of bergamot, coriander and juniper. This is followed by sweet and spicy notes of citrus, creamy vanilla and cinnamon with a slightly peppery finish with subtle cardamom. The aftertaste is very long, with soft notes of sweet citrus, juniper berries and a hint of anise giving a look back to the rich palette of CATZ® Dry Gin.
